Crisis Magazine is publishing a long essay of mine on the Church and the Resurgence of Nationalism. The first three parts are mostly historical and deal with the origins of nationalism and how the Church has reacted and what it has taught regarding nationalism. The last takes a look at how the Church might deal with this resurgence. The first two parts of the essay have been published, the second today, and I will update this post as they are published.
